How can I operate my door if there is a power outage?

Our door motors come with a manual release cord that allows you to operate the door by hand during a power outage. We also offer a Battery Backup compatible with some models that let the motor function even when power is out.

Can I install a Wireless Keypad on any garage door?

Wireless Keypads are compatible with most garage door openers, but it’s important to ensure the keypad is compatible with your specific garage door opener’s brand and model. Many keypads are universal, but some may only work with specific brands.

What is a PE Beam sensor and how does is work?

A PE Beam sensor, also known as a Photo Electric Beam or safety beam, is a safety device used in garage doors. It consists of two units (a transmitter and a receiver) placed on either side of the garage door. It creates an invisible beam of light between the two units, and if something obstructs the beam, the garage door will stop or reverse direction, preventing the door from closing on the obstruction.
